Overview
The NC50 is one of the best priced mixed denomination banknote counters and with its high capacity top loading hopper, it has created a new class of its own. It’s advanced 8-fold counterfeit detection also ensures peace of mind. The NC50 offers unique functionality including a full-colour multilingual display with helpful on-screen instructions, furthermore it comes with an external customer display.
The NC50's top loading hopper & add function enable continuous counting while counting at high speed. The batch function helps you organise your cash, single denomination counting can be used for all currencies & count reports can be easily exported to a PC or to the optional P20 printer.
Mixed Denomination Value Counting
Simply place your unsorted (or sorted) banknotes on the hopper and the NC50 will automatically start counting. The NC50 scans & reads denominations in any orientation. It will display the total value & quantity counted and also report the breakdown per denomination. The NC50 also has the capability to count vouchers, tickets and sorted banknotes in any currency.

Latest 8-Fold Counterfeit Detection
The NC50 simultaneously counts & verifies your banknotes. If a counterfeit is detected the NC50 pauses counting and alerts you with a visual and audio warning. Helpful on-screen instructions, will assist you. Simply remove the counterfeit and press start to resume counting.

High-Speed & Accurate
The NC50 accurately value counts at high speed (1,200 banknotes per minute) enabling you to eliminate human error, simplify your cash handling process and save time. Advanced infrared sensors ensure maximum counting accuracy & reliability.
The counting speed is adjustable to cater for different conditions of banknotes. You can therefore select between 3 speed settings:
- 800 banknotes per minute
- 1,000 banknotes per minute
- 1,200 banknotes per minute
High Capacity Continuous Feeding
The NC50 money counter is engineered and tested for high volume, error-free counting. It features a top loading hopper that is easier to use, has a larger banknote capacity and allows you to add banknotes to the hopper while it runs, for continuous counting.
Batch Counting & Add Functions
Preparing bank deposits, cash drawers & currency straps has never been easier. Simply input a batch quantity and the NC50 will automatically pause counting each time it counts that quantity.
The add function allows you to add different stacks of banknotes together. Ideal for keeping track of the total counting result across individual runs. The add and batch function can be used at the same time for maximum efficiency.
Export Results & Download Free Updates
To make your administration even easier, you can export your counting report to a PC using our free ZZap Banknote Counting Software.
New banknotes issued? No problem. The NC50 has an integrated USB update port so you can easily download updates & other currencies. Currency updates and instructions can be downloaded, free of charge from our website. We work with Central Banks to ensure the update is available before the new banknote enters circulation.
Count & Verify All Currencies
As well as counting unsorted banknotes, the NC50 also counts sorted banknotes for all currencies & denominations. Thanks to its high specification sensors, the NC50 can use up to 5 counterfeit detections for any currency. Fully adjustable counterfeit detection also offers maximum flexibility for future currency technology.
Full Colour Multilingual Display
The unique full colour multilingual display clearly displays everything you need to know while the quick menu provides easy access to the NC50’s many advanced features. It even displays the detailed breakdown of your counting reports.
Rogue Denomination Detection
The NC50 can detect rogue denominations that have been mistakenly put in sorted banknotes. If a rogue denomination is counted, the machine automatically pauses counting and alerts you with a visual & audio warning. No manual checking, no time wasted.
Back Cover For Easy Maintenance
The back cover & sensor platform both open to allow easy maintenance access, no tools are required. Using the provided brush, you can remove any dust & dirt in seconds. The automatic self-diagnostic also ensures you are alerted to any required maintenance.
Dust Cover, Customer Display & Maintenance Kit
Unlike many manufacturers the NC50 includes unique accessories. The provided customer display shows the counting result, allowing the customer to view the results in real time. Simply plug it into your NC50 and you’re set.
A maintenance kit is also included for fast simple cleaning. The back cover provides easy access to the sensors. Finally, the provided custom dust cover is the perfect complement to your NC50, it fits exactly as it should, shielding the sensors from dust build up.
Automatic or Manual Start
Simplicity at its best; place the banknotes in the hopper and watch the NC50 start & stop counting automatically. Alternatively, manual start is always available.
Batch counting is also made more streamlined. Simply take the banknotes from the stacker and the NC50 will instantly start to count the next batch - no buttons to press.
Print Your Count Reports
The NC50 can automatically print your count report in seconds using the optional ZZap P20 Printer. Ideal for when you need to print a hard copy for your records. The date, time, currency & full counting report breakdown is clearly shown. The P20 uses thermal printing technology therefore no ink is required, just press print.
Space-Saving Design
The NC50 has been engineered to fit perfectly on the smallest of countertops. It also has an integrated carry handle for easy transport.
