The D40+ is the ultimate counterfeit detector. It features an inbuilt rechargeable battery giving you the freedom to count your cash any time, any place. The professional full colour screen enables it to display detailed count reports and provide effortless operation. 100% accurate Bank of England certified detection combined with a visual and audible alarm for counterfeits, ensures complete peace of mind.
The D40+ verifies 5 currencies in any orientation, including advanced currencies such as US dollar. It verifies a banknote in less than 0.5 seconds and its compact design ensures it fits in any workspace. Lastly, free currency software updates guarantee a future proof design.
Inbuilt Rechargeable Battery
With up to 30 hours of mobile use, the D40+ inbuilt rechargeable battery gives you the freedom to count your cash any time, any place. The D40+ can also run off mains power.
Visual & Audio Alarm For Counterfeits
If a counterfeit is detected, the D40+ automatically alerts you with a visual & audio warning. The D40+ will “beep” 3 times and a clear error code and message will display so you know the exact detection the banknote failed on. No manual checking, no time wasted. You also have the option to switch off the sound.

The D40+'s 8-fold counterfeit detection automatically verifies your banknote in less than 0.5 seconds. A visual and audio alert will notify you to any counterfeit banknotes. No manual checking means no time wasted and no customer confrontations.

Central Bank Tested & Certified
Central banks such as the Bank of England have a vast knowledge of counterfeiting techniques. To keep pace with counterfeiters, the D40+ is regularly tested at Central Bank’s using their latest counterfeit and authentic banknotes.
Each and every time the D40+ successfully identifies all counterfeit and authentic banknotes, guaranteeing 100% accurate counterfeit detection.
Verifies 5 Currencies
The D40+ has 5 installed currencies however other currencies can be downloaded to the machine. It can even count & verify advanced currencies such as the US dollar. Other currencies are available on request, subject to availability.

- EUR - Euro
- PLN - Polish zloty
- CHF - Swiss Franc
The Included magnetic block attachment ensures that USD bills are inserted into the machine correctly.
Displays Full Counting Report
Unlike most products, the D40+ can display your reports in a detailed, easy to read format. It displays all denominations as well as the value and quantity counted with their respective grand totals shown at the bottom. Essentially, the D40+ can be used as a mini banknote counter.
Professional Full Colour Screen
The unique full colour TFT screen displays the total value counted as well as the total quantity counted for each denomination. It also shows the selected currency and banknote exit direction.
Insert Banknotes In Any Direction
The D40+ fake money detector has been designed so that you can insert banknotes in any direction, for complete ease of use.
Verifies Banknotes In 0.5 Seconds
The D40+ takes precisely 0.498 seconds to determine a banknotes authenticity. Efficiency at its finest.
Bleached Counterfeit Detection
Bleached counterfeits are real banknotes that have had their original ink removed (bleached), then it is reprinted with a higher denomination. For example a $1 bill reprinted as a $100 bill.
The D40+ counterfeit detector automatically displays the real denomination in the bottom right of the screen. If this is different to the inserted banknote, it is a bleached counterfeit.
Download Free Updates
New banknotes issued? No problem. The D40+ has an integrated USB update port so you can easily download updates. Currency updates and instructions can be downloaded, free of charge from our website. We work with Central Banks to ensure the update is available before the new banknote enters circulation.
Detachable Cover For Easy Maintenance
The D40+'s detachable cover allows for easy access to the sensors. Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance. In addition, the D40+ automatically switches to stand-by mode after 30 seconds of inactivity.
Select Which Direction Banknotes Exit The Machine
The D40+ can eject banknotes from the front or rear of the machine. The on-screen arrow shows the selected direction.
Space-Saving Design
The D40+ has been engineered to fit perfectly on the smallest of countertops and its professional design compliments any business interior. Also, the simplicity of the D40+ allows it to be operated via the use of just two buttons.
