Strong 12 Watt UV Light Detection
Genuine banknotes and some official items incorporate invisible UV marks that only become visible when exposed to ultraviolet light. The D30i emits a powerful UV light at the optimum frequency to clearly illuminate any UV marks even when verifying worn banknotes or when operating in brightly lit conditions. The user manual provides examples of the security features to look for.
Motion Sensor
The D30i fake money detector incorporates an inbuilt motion sensor to reduce energy usage. When no motion is detected, the device enters standby. The D30i switches back on when a new banknote or ID card is placed over the sensor. The motion sensor can be switched off.
White Light Detection
Genuine banknotes and some official items incorporate watermarks and metallic thread that become visible when held to light. The D30i's powerful white light makes watermarks and metallic thread clearly visible whilst also aiding in microprint visibility.
Magnifying Glass To Detect Microprint
The D30i's inbuilt magnifying glass allows you to check the microprint and verify other security features in more detail. The right side of the magnifying glass provides stronger magnification to provide you with different views of the security features. The magnifying glass also utilises an anti-glare cover so that UV light doesn't escape through the glass when the magnifying glass is not in use.
Magnetic Detection
Genuine banknotes and some official items incorporate magnetic ink/metallic thread. When the magnetic ink/metallic thread is rubbed against the MG sensor the D30 will emit a "beep" sound and the white light area will flash green to confirm its authenticity.

Verifies Official Items
The D30i fake money detector instantly illuminates UV marks on official items, ideal for verifying driving licences, credit/debit/bank cards, passports, ID cards, cheques, permits, stamps, certificates of authenticity on software packaging and other official items with UV marks. It also illuminates UV ink such as Smartwater or SelectaDNA that is used to protect valuables from theft or confirm event admission.
Optional Battery Powered Operation
The D30i has the option to run on rechargeable battery power and incorporates a battery status light to indicate the batteries life. Thanks to its power saving settings, you have up to 10 hours of mobile use meaning you have the freedom to count your cash any time, any place. If the machine is constantly in use or has the power saving motion sensor turned off, you will have 3 hours of battery life. (Operates on 1x Lithium ion 2800mAh 3.7V battery. Battery is not included)
